COM Quote Request
At River and Bord, we take the quality of our products and your custom designs seriously. That's why, before we use your fabric in our COM/COL program, our experienced team will review and approve it to ensure it fits adequate upholstery methods and will hold up over time. We understand that your clients expect durable and long-lasting furniture, and we are committed to delivering that to them.
Our team will examine the fabric's texture, weight, and composition to ensure it is suitable for use in upholstery. We will also consider the fabric's color and pattern to ensure it complements the piece and achieves the desired aesthetic.
If any concerns arise during the review process, we will contact you to discuss potential solutions or alternatives. Our goal is to ensure that your custom piece not only looks beautiful but also performs to the highest standards.
You can trust that your custom design will be in good hands with River and Bord's COM/COL program.
COM Upholstery Standards:
A minimum fabric width of 52" is required.
We require fabrics meet a minimum of 30,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek Method) or 40,000 cycles (Martindale Test).
Fabrics should be properly backed for heavy upholstery use.
COM fabrics must be approved by our factory experts, prior to production. Suitability for upholstery, fabric orientation, and pattern repeats are factors considered when approving COM.
Does My Trade Discount Apply?
Yes, your trade discount can be applied to COM orders. The discount will be applied at checkout. Your COM quote will not reflect your trade discount.
What is Fabric Orientation?
Fabric orientation is the way in which the furniture piece is cut from the desired material. Pattern direction (Up The Roll or Railroaded) will affect where the furniture requires seams.
