Warranty
At River & Bord, we stand by the quality of our handcrafted pieces. Our Limited Lifetime Warranty applies for the duration of the original fabric’s life. Please note that reupholstering or modifying the product will void all warranties. This policy excludes damages caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, commercial or instructional use, and freight-related issues. Due to the artisanal nature of our craftsmanship, slight variations in size, scale, and padding may occur and are not covered under warranty.
Frames:
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Our frames are designed to last. We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in wood frame components for the original retail purchaser. Coverage remains effective for three years, provided the product retains its original fabric.
Springs:
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Built for comfort and durability, our spring components are warranted against manufacturing defects for the original retail purchaser. Coverage remains effective for three years, provided the product retains its original fabric.
Cushions:
3-Year Warranty
Experience lasting comfort. Cushion components are protected against manufacturing defects for three years from the date of purchase, as long as the original fabric remains intact.
Please Note: Gradual softening and flattening of foam and fibers are considered normal signs of use and are not covered under warranty. However, abnormal wear or significant loss of resiliency may be eligible for warranty claims.
Mechanisms (Swivel and/or Glider Options):
3-Year Warranty
Metal mechanisms are crafted for smooth performance. They are warranted against manufacturing defects for three years from the delivery date, provided the original fabric remains intact.
Fabrics:
River & Bord does not provide warranties for fabric performance related to wear, color-fastness, shrinkage, wrinkling, or stretching. Such characteristics are not covered by this warranty.
Important: The use of any aftermarket treatments will void all fabric warranties. Treatments and sprays may cause deterioration of latex, seam slippage, discoloration, or damage to internal fillers, compromising product longevity.
