We ordered two of The Stout Chairs in Shearling Toast. The look, quality, and functionality of these chairs are far superior to any other piece of furniture I’ve ever owned. We have 3 small children and they are the easiest chairs to clean and SO comfy! Everyone that comes in our home comments on how beautiful and chic they are! We are in LOVE! I would give this chair 10 stars if I could!!

“We have two of the Stout chairs- arrived in October 2021. When they came, my extended family expressed concern about the light color because we have four young children. At Christmas I got a spot on one of the chairs and tried to use a store bought product to get it out, knowing the fabric was performance fabric. I made it worse. What I have since learned is that these products, like Resolve have an oil that then attracts dirt to the spot. So I won’t use that stuff any more.
This week I had an upholstery and carpet company come and give my chairs a good clean and they got the spot out and they look brand new all over again. I’m so impressed with this fabric and pleased with our purchase. It’s wonderful to have furniture made in North Carolina that will last and lifetime and be passed down to my family in the future. We do not baby these chairs and have been so pleased, we are planning more furniture orders from River and Bord! We use our stout chairs every morning to watch the sunrise and drink our coffee. We have 4 and they all get used almost every day. They are perfect in size and really bring our space together with their soft lines and amazing fabric.
